About Me

Hi! I’m a registered dental hygienist living in beautiful Vancouver, Canada — and the maker behind every bar of soap you see here.

Working in dental care for many years taught me how important it is to protect the skin — especially the hands. Vancouver’s air can be dry for much of the year, and I noticed that almost everyone around me, myself included, struggled with dryness and eczema. I started making my own soap because I wanted something gentle, nourishing, and honest — a simple bar that cleans without making things worse.

I don’t claim that my soaps can cure eczema, but I do make them with one promise: they won’t make your skin worse! Each recipe is carefully balanced to keep cleansing mild and moisturizing high.

I was born in Taiwan, and sometimes I source a small selection of plant extracts from Taiwan — unique ingredients that are difficult to find in Canada. All other ingredients, including oils, butters, and lye, are purchased locally in Canada to ensure quality and freshness.

All my soaps are made using the cold process (CP) method — mixed, poured, and cut by hand, then left to cure naturally for several weeks. Every batch is submitted to Health Canada to meet cosmetic safety standards. I’m also proud to be a member of the Handcrafted Bath & Body Guild (HBBG), a community that supports Canadian artisans and promotes high standards in handmade skincare.

Beyond the ingredients, I spend a lot of time designing the look of each soap — blending colors, textures, and patterns like tiny works of art. My soaps are not just meant to be kind to the skin but also a joy to look at. Many customers tell me my soaps are “so pretty” or “too beautiful to use,” which always makes me smile. Each bar is unique, one-of-a-kind, and crafted with love from start to finish.

What began as a small hobby has grown into a heartfelt creative journey — a place where science, care, and art come together in every batch.

Thank you for supporting a small maker’s dream, and for letting a piece of handmade beauty become part of your everyday care.
