FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
We love sharing the story behind our soaps and helping you get the most out of them. Here are some answers to common questions about our process, products, and care tips.
How do I place an order?
Simply add the items you’d like to your shopping cart and check out through Shopify when you’re ready.
If you’re local or a friend of the studio, you’re always welcome to contact us directly to arrange a pickup instead of shipping.
How should I take care of my soaps?
To help your soap last longer and stay beautiful:
-
Do not soak it in water overnight.
-
Keep it out of direct sunlight.
-
Avoid contact with eyes while washing.
After each use, place your soap on a well-draining soap dish so it can dry properly between uses.
Why do I see “sweats” on the soap?
If you notice tiny beads of moisture on your soap, don’t worry — it’s completely normal!
This happens when Melt & Pour (MP) soap draws humidity from the air. It’s called “sweating,” and it doesn’t affect the soap’s quality or safety. The moisture will evaporate naturally in a dry place.
What method do you use to make your soaps?
We make our soaps using the Cold Process (CP) method — an old-fashioned way that combines natural oils with lye to create soap through a reaction called saponification.
This process produces a creamy, long-lasting bar full of natural glycerin that feels lovely on the skin.
How long does it take to ship?
Once we receive your order, please allow 4–6 days for preparation and packing.
Shipping time depends on your location and the courier you choose. You’ll receive a tracking number once your package is on its way.
Do you take custom or bulk orders?
Yes, we do! If you’d like a custom scent, design, or a larger batch for a special occasion (like weddings, showers, or gifts), please contact us directly.
Custom orders take additional curing and preparation time, so reach out early — we’d love to make something special just for you.
Are your soaps vegan?
Most of our soaps are made with plant-based oils and butters and contain no animal fats.
If a soap contains milk, honey, or any animal-derived ingredient, it will be clearly listed on the product page so you can choose with confidence.
Can I use your soap on my face?
Our soaps are gentle enough for most skin types, but everyone’s skin is different.
We recommend starting with a patch test or using our unscented or mild bars for facial cleansing. Avoid getting the soap in your eyes, as it may sting — this is normal for true soap.
